Bob Smith Industries, BSI-131, INSTA-CURE, Super Thin Pocket, CA Glue, (1/2 oz)
Insta-Cure Pocket CA cyanoacrylate glue by Bob Smith Industries features a water-thin viscosity that easily seeps deep into joints by capillary action and cures in only a matter of a few seconds. When bonding objects with Bob Smith Industries’ Insta-Cure, the surfaces must be tight fitting and should be held together while you apply the cyanoacrylate glue around the edges of the seam. In addition, this glue is also capable of penetrating more than the surface area of the wood creating a stronger bond. Insta-Cure is perfect when gluing balsa wood and ceramics, but also works well for soft woods, fiberglass and hard plastics and is water resistant. When cyanoacrylate glue dries, it dries crystal clear, does not discolor, nor foams making it a great choice for hobby enthusiasts and dental labs.

Unscrew top from nozzle. For finer applications, use the extender tip. Insta-Cure™ CA is used to bond tight fitting parts. Hold the parts together (sometimes using masking tape), then apply the Insta-Cure™ along the joints. The CA will penetrate deep into the joints. Bonding will occur in 1-3 seconds. Excess cured CA can be removed from surfaces like ceramics by rubbing with a paper towel soaked in Un-Cure™. Full strength is reached in two hours. Wipe the nozzle clean before replacing screw-on top. Refrigerate to extend shelf life. Cured CA is stable from -40 to 220º F. Soak extender tip in acetone for cleaning.
More information on Pocket CA's
Pocket CAs are available in 3/4 & 4 oz. sizes and feature a top that has a pin built into the cap that covers the nozzle. This pin seals the bottle so that if it is tipped over, the bottle will not leak. This makes the Pocket CAs ideal for keeping in your tool or field box, just like our IC-Gel. This pin also helps prevent the clogging of the nozzle. One disadvantage that the new Pocket CA top has is the bluntness of the nozzle. This makes it more difficult to apply small amounts of the CA, especially in tight places. BSI's #304 extender tip can be used on the nozzle for finer applications. The Pocket CAs are available with BSI's Insta-Cure, Insta-Cure+, Maxi-Cure and Super-Gold+.
