Keikyu 230 is a train car designed 16 m long with 2 doors for interurban operation on the Keikyu line.
Despite its prewar manufacture, it looked stylish with large windows and regarded as one of the renowned coaches representing the prewar private railway company with then cutting-edge technology incorporated.
Keikyu 230 was originally operated on Keikyu mainline till 1972 and after that ran on branch lines such as Daishi line and Airport line till 1978. Part of train cars were transferred to Takamatsu Kotohira Electric Railways and seen travelling till 2007.
