Atlas HO Scale 5701 Pressureaide Hopper

The AFC 5701 Pressureaide Hopper was introduced in the early 1970s for transporting bulk plastic pellets. Since 1972, approximately 15,000 of these cars have been built, mostly acquired by private companies, including leasing companies, chemical companies, oil companies, and plastics companies.

Designed for handling dry bulk commodities with piping, operating valves, and pressure relief devices, these hoppers continue to be used today for transporting materials like cement, flour, and plastic pellets.
