Rapido Trains, 100402, HO Scale, Lightweight Coach, LIRR, #2181

Rapido Trains HO Scale CC&F Lightweight Coaches are based on Canadian Car &Foundry cars ordered by Canadian National in the early 1950s. The cars are also similar to equipment found on many North American railroads from1940-1980. Each comes pre painted and lettered, with several different numbers or names for each scheme to easily build a larger consist. Cars are fully assembled and include a detailed underbody with separate steam, air and electrical lines, flush-fitting windows with raised and painted window frames, factory-applied grab irons and uncoupling levers, fully detailed interior cast in appropriate colors, rack-powered interior lighting, separate, removable marker lamps and end gates and operating diaphragms with supports. Super Continental Line cars feature improved design and assembly to prevent warping, tighter connections between the body and the roof, new couplers designed for more reliable operation when pulled or pushed and redesigned, free-rolling trucks. The CC&F Lightweight Coach is part of the line of Rapido HO Scale passenger car models.
