Vibrant and versatile, the ED75-0 series has been fully renewed and released! This electric locomotive is designed to power AC, succeeding the ED71 to provide passenger and freight transport on the Joban Line from Hira Station (now Iwaki Station) onward. A total of 160 cars were produced for the Tohoku Main Line and Joban Line. The ED75-0s were active in many different capacities, from hauling freight to running on general passenger cars and towing the Blue Train. Its roles in the Tohoku region were essential and unmistakable!
